Payment Information
Payment method: check and credit card
Fees have been calculated based off the rates in the Bay Area. If you have any questions about fees feel free to contact me. I am happy to further discuss.
Payment is due at the time of service. If you are having financial problems I am more than happy to discuss options with you. I am not providing sliding scales at the moment but once I have them available I will update that information on here.
I am an out-of-network provider, services are out of pocket. Some insurance companies will reimburse up to 80%. If you qualify I can provide an itemized statement for insurance reimbursement. I can also speak in more details with you around this, if you have any further questions.
CancellationI have a preference of cancelations being done 48 hours before our session via text, email or phone call . If due to an emergency you are unable to cancel within that time frame we can further discuss. I can allow 2 consecutive cancelations out of the 48 hour time frame. If more than 2 happen outside of that time frame I will charge a penalty fee. If there are financial problems I am happy to further discuss. I am always happy to reschedule.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
